Onboarding

I’m seeing an “Email is already signed up” error.
This error suggests you’ve already gone through the sign-up process once, and you don’t have to do it again. You can use the ‘Login’ button to do the login. In case you don’t remember the password you set for the email click here.
Temporary password is generated by the Mesh system to verify the email you entered belongs to you. Please check the inbox of the email-id you entered for the temporary password. Don’t forget to check the spam folder in case it doesn’t appear in the inbox. Any further issue, you can report a bug with our product team and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Referral code during sign-up is an optional field, and you can proceed to the next steps without the same, however once sign-up is complete you can’t use referral code.
Team in Mesh is for a group of people from the same organisation who work together on different projects. Weekly summaries, productivity scores and bird-eye views are generated on a team level. As it happens offline, you can be part of multiple teams in the mesh. Your stand-up tool is incomplete without your team, so we highly encourage you to be part of at least one team in the Mesh system.
The manager in a team can invite more members to join the team, create different project tags for the team. Managers can also see the summary views in ‘My Team’ which would help drive the stand-up meetings. Whoever creates the team is the default manager of the team but this can be later changes in the setting panel here. One team must have at least one manager.
Your stand-up tool is incomplete without your team, so we ensure that you are at least part of one team in the Mesh system. However, if you’ve been invited to join a team from someone else, you can accept the invitation instead of creating a new team.
Yes, you can visit pending invitations and accept any or all of them from the settings panel here. All the teams you’ve been invited are already shown in the left pane. However, you’ll have to join at least one team (or create a new one) at the sign up to complete the onboarding process.

Mesh don’t support cross-organisation teams as of now. Which means you can only invite team members from the same email domain on the platform. I.e. If you login with xxxx@mycompany.com, you can only send invites to members like abc@mycompany.com, def@mycompany.com and so on. You can’t invite abc@othercompany.com to the same team. However, you can encourage them to use the platform within their organisation by sending a referral link from here.
Your stand-up tool is incomplete without team members, so we highly encourage inviting your team members to join during sign-up. However you can add team members later as well, from the settings panel here. If you choose to invite team members later, you can click on the skip button during signup.
Apart from your login email-id, no other detail is mandatory on Mesh platform. However for better user-experience we recommend you sharing nominal information like designation, location, profile image etc. on the platform. Rest assured that any personal information shared here is secured and will not be shared with anyone else. For further details, you can check our privacy policy here.
Projects, we also call them as mesh-tags, are there to provide better organisation of your tasks. Your team members can easily check which tasks relate to which project, or request help regarding a project using feed posts. Managers can sort or filter tasks for the same project in the My team page during sync-ups.So even though creation of projects is not mandatory, we highly recommend using those tags to make the most of the platform.

  • We understand that you can be part of multiple teams and working on multiple projects, and all the task lists, feed, and my team sections are specific to the team you’re currently working with. Hence, we give the option to set a preferred team to everyone. Preferred team, once selected, will be the default team shown everywhere on the platform. At any point in the team you select another team to temporarily view My team section or the task list of another team as well, but default selection of the platform will be the Preferred team you set in the setting panel.
  • If you’re facing any problems, or have any suggestions on how to make your experience please feel free to write to our product team here. We'll be happy to hear from you.
When you’re invited to join any team, it’s shown in the left pane of the settings panel with a pending remark. You can accept the invite by clicking on the same, and now you can see that team with other teams in the panel.
